Tillmans in Cocktails and Soft Drinks
At the recent IMBIBE LIVE trade-show at Earls Court 2, the refrain at the Tillmans stand was, "I thought they'd be sickly-sweet like the usual cordials, but they're actually really refreshing". Why? Because the fruit comes from Scandinavia, it has matured more slowly under near 24 hr summer daylight, which concentrates the natural sugars in the berries themselves so that, when Tillmans bottle the juices, they don't need to add as much sugar as other manufacturers.
Tequila and neat Blackcurrant Cordial
With half the sugar of Ribena, you can taste the blackcurrants that Tillmans have grown themselves and the distinct flavour of the alcohol is not masked by sugar.
Vodka, ice, Rhubarb Cordial
Quick and easy to prepare. Served at the swedish Ambassador's residence during the London design festival, amazing flavour, fantastically popular 2 parts vodka, 1 part Tillmans rhubarb cordial, large measure crushed ice, drink with a short straw.
Vodka, ice, Elderflower Cordial and Raspberry and Redcurrant Cordial
Because Tillmans Elderflower Cordial contains 25% less added sugar than other cordials, the Swedish raspberries and fragrant elderflowers can combine with the vodka for a refreshing cocktail.
Cherry and Raspberry Bellini
Instead of peach puree, use Tillmans Cherry Cordial and Raspberry Cordial with prosecco. There really is no better cherry cordial than Tillmans. Because Tillmans is not as sweet as other cordials, the prosecco can also be tasted.
Arctic Cloudberry Bellini
This rarest of Nordic fruit, the wild cloudberry has a flavour all its own. Slightly reminiscent of but completely unlike apricot, it can only be hand - harvested. Tillmans have created an exquisite jam from them. Like an orange raspberry, once the seeds are strained the jam can be mixed in a Bellini. Only 34% added sugar.
Blackberry Bellini
Strain the seeds from Tillmans Organic Blackberry Jam for an exciting new ingredient

Soft Drinks
An opened bottle of Tillmans organic cordial will keep in a fridge for a month. A mixed jug for 36 hrs.
One bottle yields 3 litres mixed juice, with a highest added sugar content of 7% when diluted or 4.9% in the case of the lingonberry or rhubarb cordials. Ribena is 12.5%
That's nearly nine 300ml glasses. So (at 1:4), if one glass diluted cordial retails at £1.95 the business will receive sales of £17.55 / bottle cordial. This may vary slightly depending on the flavour, e.g. rhubarb will extend further than say cherry, yielding 11 glasses.
With ice and sparkling water the best flavours are Rhubarb, Strawberry, Cherry, Raspberry & Redcurrant and Lingonberry.
Milk Shakes and Smoothies
Mix a splash of neat berry cordials and use a small battery hand-frother for a delicious organic shake.
Best with Strawberry, Raspberry & Redcurrant, Blackcurrant.
Used in smoothies and mocktails, Tillmans will not over-sweeten.
